Daily Averages Gold Clearing Data - July 2023

The volume of gold transferred in July decreased by 2.6% month on month (m/m) to 16.7 mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred down 2.3% m/m to $32.6 bn. There were 4,141 transfers, 6.5% lower m/m, with the clearers settling on average 4,043 ounces per transfer, 4.1% higher m/m.

Daily Averages Silver Clearing Data - June 2023

For silver, the volume of ounces transferred increased by 2.9% m/m to 243.3 mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred up 5.7% m/m to $5.8 bn. The number of transfers increased by 0.5% m/m to 1,710, with the clearers settling on average 142,329 ounces per transfer, 2.4% higher m/m.

The average gold/silver price ratio in July was down to 81.0 from 83.0 in June.
