Daily Averages Gold Clearing Data - June 2024

The volume of gold transferred in June increased by 2.6% month on month (m/m) to 16.7 mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred up 1.7% m/m to $38.9 bn. There were 4,894 transfers, 5% higher m/m, with the clearers settling on average 3,420 ounces per transfer, 2.2% lower m/m.

Daily Averages Silver Clearing Data - June 2024

For silver, the volume of ounces transferred decreased by 1.4% m/m to 236.4 mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred down 6.7% m/m to $7 bn. The number of transfers decreased by 16.6% m/m to 2,830, with the clearers settling on average 83,519 ounces per transfer, 18.4% higher m/m.

The average gold/silver price ratio in June Increased to 78.6 from 75.1 in May.
