Daily Averages Gold Clearing Data - March 2025

The volume of gold transferred in March decreased by 13.8% month on month (m/m) to 17.2mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred down 11.2% m/m to $51.4bn. There were 6,679 transfers, 8.8% lower m/m, with the clearers settling on average 2,580 ounces per transfer, 5.4% lower m/m.

Daily Averages Silver Clearing Data - March 2025

For silver, the volume of ounces transferred decreased by 4.9% m/m to 266.6mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred down 2% m/m to $8.8bn. The number of transfers increased by 21.8% m/m to 3,636, with the clearers settling on average 73,322 ounces per transfer, 22.2% lower m/m.

The average gold/silver price ratio in March remained the same at 89.9.
