Daily Averages Gold Clearing Data - May 2025
The volume of gold transferred in May decreased by 22.5% month on month (m/m) to 15.7mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred down 20% m/m to $51.5bn. There were 6,915 transfers, 32.6% lower m/m, with the clearers settling on average 2,273 ounces per transfer, 14.9% higher m/m.
Daily Averages Silver Clearing Data - May 2025
For silver, the volume of ounces transferred decreased by 26.9% m/m to 250.5mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred down 25.9% m/m to $8.2bn. The number of transfers decreased by 46.2% m/m to 2,458, with the clearers settling on average 101,885 ounces per transfer, 35.7% higher m/m.
The average gold/silver price ratio in May increased to 100.2 from 99.4 in April.
