Daily Averages Gold Clearing Data - May 2026

The volume of gold transferred in May increased by 2.3% month on month (m/m) to 16.1mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred down by 0.7% m/m to $73.7bn. There were 6,464 transfers, 6.3% lower m/m, with the clearers settling on average 2,486 ounces per transfer, 9.2 higher m/m.

Daily Averages Silver Clearing Data - May 2026

For silver, the volume of ounces transferred increased by 2.9% m/m to 194.9mn ounces, with the corresponding value transferred up 5.7% m/m to $15.2bn. The number of transfers increased by 19.4% m/m to 2,312, with the clearers settling on average 84,297 ounces per transfer, 13% lower m/m.

The average gold/silver price ratio in May decreased to 58.9 from 62.4 in April.
